Joining the Group“Connor…Will you be our bassist?” chorused the boy’s voices from a sound file as Connor tried to play with a yo-yo.

Connor stood dumbfounded asking what as Brad and Tristan confirmed that they indeed wanted him to be in the band. Connor agreed happily, and was hugged from the side and front by James and Tristan.

-Flashback 2 weeks earlier-

James and Brad were discussing about letting Connor be the bassist in their band.

The Journey to Gerbils...and Love?Brad had left the house behind to the lovebirds. Now he was aimlessly walking, wherever his feet took him.

‘Stupid Valentine’s Day!’ Brad thought. ‘Stupid James and Tristan! Stupid vampire mate thing! Stupid Myra!’ Brad had not realized he had gone from thinking in his head to yelling out loud.

“You called?”

“Aaaahhhh!” screamed Brad as he was startled by Myra popping up suddenly.

“Oh, so sorry, my stupid self didn’t mean to startle you.”

Trippy Sleepover Part 3The rest of the day went pretty well. James did go on more rollercoasters than he ever thought he would, but it was the thought that Tristan was there, and would allow him to crush his hand every time that allowed him to relax…until the next sharp corner that is. By now the sun was fading, and they had about 2 hours before the park closed.

“I want to go on one last ride before the fireworks!” Brad said excited for another ride.

“But all the lines are getting really long at the rides that are still open,” Tristan said, as he looked around.
